3300 sf restoration & renovation

This was a complete restoration of a 1790 Colonial. We removed a front porch and restored the facade to a symmetrical five bay front with traditional trim around the front door and sidelights. Then, we added a verandah to the entire back facade, which gives depth to the tall three story rear face. Inside, the third floor stair was relocated to allow a rework of the bedrooms, along with three newly defined bathrooms. In the kitchen and informal eating area, radiant heat was installed beneath a new stained and scored concrete floor. The total scope involved replacement of the foundation, rebuilding from the exposed studs, and extensive structural restoration.
